Integrations
The Verifiable Settlement Layer (VSL) is a decentralized service that validates claims. Users submit claims along with validity proofs to the VSL, where they are independently verified by VSL validators. Once verified, these claims are stored and can be queried by users for use in other blockchain services.
VSL has been integrated into various blockchain ecosystems to enhance security, scalability, and interoperability in cross-chain communication. One such integration was with Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) framework, where VSL served as a custom attestation mechanism for secure token transfers.
This section details the Wormhole integration as a past integration, demonstrating how VSL improves cross-chain operations. Future integrations may build on similar principles, applying VSL to different blockchain protocols and services.
