Integrations
The Universal Settlement Layer (USL) is a decentralized service that validates claims. Users submit claims along with validity proofs to the USL, where they are independently verified by USL validators. Once verified, these claims are stored and can be queried by users for use in other blockchain services.
USL has been integrated into various blockchain ecosystems to enhance security, scalability, and interoperability in cross-chain communication. One such integration was with Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) framework, where USL served as a custom attestation mechanism for secure token transfers.
This section details the Wormhole integration as a past integration, demonstrating how USL improves cross-chain operations. Future integrations may build on similar principles, applying USL to different blockchain protocols and services.
